Our marquees are ideal to offer expanded construction site canteen areas that may be required under social distancing rules. We can do a full fit out including catering equipment, furniture, refrigeration, temperature control, lighting and electricity. Everything can be secured using lockable doors, windows and alarm systems if needed.
We can build marquees for workshops on any surface, with a variety of wall, ceiling, heating and lighting options depending on usage. If extra lighting is needed, then large windows can be installed, or if large door openings are needed for ventilation we can provide personal heaters. There are a variety of door options available including roller shutters and sliding doors of various heights and widths.
Fews offer a large range of structures for storage. Insulated or non-insulated temporary buildings with eave heights up to 8m can be installed at short notice on hard standing surfaces such as concrete and tarmac. Where moisture-sensitive goods are being stored we can install inflatable pillow roofs to eliminate condensation. For more information click here for our temporary structures site.
If additional temporary office space is required to enable sufficient social distancing we can provide a fully temperature controlled environment with lighting, carpeting, furniture, electricity and water. All this can be secured using lockable doors, windows and alarm systems if needed. We provide ready to use, turnkey solutions which can be built in any size as required and can include showers, hand basins and toilets. Our marquees are fit for purpose and suitable for use through the winter months.
Basic work cover can be provided for shelter against inclement weather, with or without walls depending on requirement. Fews have developed some social distancing solutions for the construction sector preparing re-introduce their employees back to site. The extra space required to do this safely can be provided by temporary marquee structures designed for the purpose.
Fews offer a very fast installation service where required. Our temporary buildings can be installed on hard standing concrete, tarmac, gravel or grass, and it is possible for them to be either free-standing or connected to existing buildings. The quality of our structures mean they can be in place for three months or even 20 years. We are able to build in very confined spaces if the choice of location is limited.
We allocate dedicated project managers to each enquiry, ensuring continuity in communication and information. They follow through from initial enquiry to final build, including being on-site to make sure that your requirements are delivered precisely and on time.
For over 20 years we have been providing structures to the public and private sectors. We have a deep understanding of the market sectors we operate in, saving time and money for our clients.
Constructed from anodised aluminium and other high quality materials, our temporary buildings are resistant to wind, snow and rain, and are designed to last many years in such conditions. We use specialist enhanced PVC, insulated sandwich slabs, aluminium profiles and fire galvanised steel connection and assembly components to ensure we provide safe, durable, resistant structures.
Maintaining high professional standards is fundamental to the Fews approach. We have many health and safety, process and environmental accreditations including CHAS Elite, SafeContractor, Constructionline Silver, ISO9001 and ISO14001.
Constructing temporary buildings on operational sites requires a skilled workforce with specific qualifications. We provide a tailored service to such sites to make sure that all construction works are isolated and the public is safe. It is of critical importance that we reduce the risk of injury to the lowest possible levels to minimise your liability and protect all stakeholders. You can trust us, and this is why:

All personnel involved in the construction process must undergo Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks to ensure a safe and secure working environment in proximity to the public.
The ability to deliver materials outside of regular hours is essential to minimise disruptions to the ongoing educational activities and ensure the safety of the public and staff alike. This requires coordination and planning to ensure a seamless construction process.
There are a number of essential accreditations that are required to work in any environment. Fews also operate on numerous nuclear sites which means a much higher level of training and accreditation. There is more information on our accreditations and training programmes.
All of our site staff wear branded hi-viz clothing and all of our vehicles are clearly branded for easy identification to ensure the safety of the public and staff.
