Pop Up Hotel at Formula One Grand Prix, Silverstone

The client

The Pop-Up Hotel are best known for their luxury accommodation at events like Glastonbury and Silverstone circuit for the Formula One Grand Prix weekend. 

The brief

For 2026 the hotel set out to be bigger and more ambitious the 2025 edition at Silverstone. The expansion added a trackside swimming pool and swim-up bar overlooking the circuit. The site was to be on the inside of the circuit, with fine dining in the village. The structures had to deliver comfort and glamour in a temporary setting, and to be ready for guests on a fixed race-weekend deadline.

The challenge

The Pop-Up Hotel’s guest offer goes well beyond sleeping space, boasting a restaurant (The Podium), the Velocity Lounge, hot tubs, a pool, a hair salon, reception and other VIP touches. Every element needed a suitable structure on a live motorsport site, so weather resilience, guest flow and a tight build window all mattered.
