Seasonal Summer Marquee Rigger – Student

Really want to find a summer job but don’t fancy being cooped up in a stuffy office or a factory all day?

Then why not start to think about braving the elements and taking a summer job where you can work outdoors for pretty much the whole time?

As a seasonal summer marquee rigger you will help load up the marquee and other equipment at the our base and then transport it to the event location. Once there, you and the rest of the marquee rigging crew will put up the structure and make sure that everything is safe and built to the high standard that Fews Marquees has a reputation for.

At the end of the event, you will then take down the marquee, put everything back on the vehicles, and transport it back to our headquarters.

It’s a bit like being paid to get fit.

Location: Onsite based with time in the warehouse/yard

Working Hours

Flexible hours based on marquee hire bookings, with typical hours between 6am to 7pm, and additional hours on marquee builds as dictated by seasonal demand.
Availability to work weekends is an integral part of the job. There is a possibility of overnight stays, for which accommodation will be provided.

Confident, motivated and enthusiastic and the ability to deliver jobs on schedule. You’ll be responsible for delivering a great product and service to our clients. 

You’ll need to be well presented, committed, hard working, physically fit, punctual, trustworthy and have a sense of humour!
