Saturday, April 23rd 2022 saw the celebrations of William Shakespeare’s 458th birthday across Stratford upon Avon. Forming part of the celebrations was the traditional birthday lunch supported by Stratford jewellers Pragnells and hosted by Alexander Armstrong.
Central to the luncheon was The Pragnell Shakespeare Birthday Award which was presented to Adrian Lester, the latest in a long line of theatre greats.
To accommodate such luminaries, Fews we asked to build a series of structures for the dining area, green room, reception area and kitchens to be sited at Avonbank Gardens.
The main structure was a 20metre x 65metre Premium Fews Marquee on a 3metre leg. In addition, there was a 10metre x 15metre marquee containing the reception area, cloak room and kitchens.
The walls were a mix of ABS panels, glass windows and glass double doors. We fitted a level ring beam cassette floor throughout with access ramps. Bespoke white flat tack-off linings were fitted to the walls and white flat opaque leg boxes to all window bays.
